2021 Best Astrophotography Moments
To celebrate this new year, I published a video on YouTube with my best 2021 astrophotography moments, including a solar and a lunar eclipse, Jupiter and Saturn at their best, our beautiful Moon, star clusters and galaxies, my first narrowband images, a remote imaging setup and the comet Leonard!

I photographed the Comet Leonard!
After several nights of disappointment because of the cloudy weather, on the night of December 6, 2021 I prepared my gear as the weather forecast for my location gave me some hope between 5 and 7 AM.

The Monkey Head Nebula with my remote setup
The Monkey Head Nebula (NGC 2174). Probably not one of my best shots, but one of the first images acquired remotely.

The Horse Head Nebula and Flame Nebula
My Electronically Assisted Astronomy project is taking shape!
I captured this image of the iconic Horsehead Nebula (Barnard 33) and the Flame Nebula (NGC 2024) from my deck with my mini PC connected to Remote Desktop while sitting on my couch.

The longest partial lunar eclipse in almost 600 years
The partial lunar eclipse occurred on November 19, 2021 at its maximum (97% of the Moon in Earth’s shadow).
